Dolcetto is made exclusively from grapes grown on the Pietra Santa estate.
After harvest, the grapes are “cold soaked” prior to fermentation to maximize
color, aroma and flavor extraction. In the Piedmont region of Italy, a
Dolcetto is often found on restaurant tables because the grape’s berry and
spice flavors that make it an ideal partner for meals. This vintage features
ripe plums and blackberry with undertones of almond and sage. It is full-bodied
with soft tannins and a lingering finish. Cellar for 3+ years.
